Delete your Auto Minder data

How to delete some or all of your Auto Minder data without deleting your account. This applies to the Auto Minder app for Android and iPhone and to the website at autominder.app.

Delete it yourself

A fill-up, service record or reminder	Open it in the app, or under Records on autominder.app, and delete it. It is deleted from the cloud and from anyone the vehicle is shared with.
A vehicle and all its records	Open it in the Garage (app or website) and delete it. If someone else owns the vehicle, this removes you from it instead.
Anonymous comparison contributions	Turn off comparing with other owners in Settings. Your contributions are removed.
Reward cards	Delete them in Settings. Cards you shared are removed for the people you shared them with.
Vehicle photo in the cloud	Remove the photo from the vehicle in the app while photo sync is on. The cloud copy is deleted.
Everything on your phone	Uninstall Auto Minder. Records that were never synced are gone for good.

Deletions happen right away. Nothing is kept once you delete it: we don't keep backups of your records.

Or ask us to delete it

Email support@autominder.app with the subject "Delete my Auto Minder data", sent from the email address you signed in with. Say which data you want deleted, for example a particular vehicle or all of your cloud records. We delete it within 30 days, keep your account open, and reply when it's done.

What stays

Your account (sign-in email and method) stays until you delete it.
Vehicles and records other people own and shared with you stay theirs.
Community comparison figures that were already published combine five or more vehicles and can't be traced back to you.
